UK and USA DSA Conference

The DSA conferences in the UK and USA were highly enjoyable this year and look like being very rewarding for us too. We sponsored the Supplier exhibition at the UK event in Solihull and duly had our company name emblazoned across a large banner in the exhibition hall for all to see!

We had good presence on our stand with many old and new friends and colleagues stopping by for a chat. There are so many new initiatives and good news stories in the industry at the moment and we are delighted to have cemented our relationships with our existing clients as well as exploring opportunities with some potential new ones.

The USA event in San Antonio, Texas was even more beneficial and we tagged along with our old friends at IMN. This is where the most innovation is apparent and we are busy seeing demonstrations of the new ideas and technological advancements that are being rolled out in the fastest growing American companies. We are now the “go to” supplier for some really amazing products and services and we are very excited at the prospect of being able to offer these great services and products to our UK and European client base.

CVSL purchase Kleeneze

Pan European Solutions are delighted to announce that following our successful collaboration with our business partners, CVSL, an agreement has now been signed for them to acquire Kleeneze in the UK.

DALLAS, Feb. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — CVSL Inc.[NYSE MKT: CVSL] announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Kleeneze, a United Kingdom-based direct-to-consumer company. The consummation of the acquisition is subject to certain conditions, including approval by the New York Stock Exchange MKT.

Kleeneze is one of the U.K.’s longest-operating, largest and best-known direct-to-consumer businesses. Founded in 1923, the company has grown into a community of more than 7,000 independent distributorships, offering a wide variety of several thousand cleaning, health, beauty, home, outdoor and other products to customers across the U.K. and Ireland. Kleeneze is a founding member of the U.K. Direct Selling Association.

Under the terms of the agreement, CVSL will purchase 100% of the shares of Kleeneze from Findel PLC. Both the CVSL and Findel boards have approved the terms. It is anticipated that closing will take place by the end of the First Quarter.

PAN European at the 2014 SELDIA Conference

Pam, Allan and Nick attended the SELDIA conference in Brussels last week and exhibited there for the first time. There was a record attendance at this year’s event and all seemed to agree that the content and production was the best ever.

The Awards Dinner was well attended and we were delighted that the UK DSA was awarded “Best European DSA” for the year – many congratulations to Director General, Lynda Mills and her whole team. Allan was lucky enough to be seated next to Lynda at the dinner! Partylite won best Direct Selling Company and there was a special recognition for the UK’s recently retired DG, Paul Southworth.

The conference took place the following day and we were pleased to see the community spirit being demonstrated amongst the member companies and the suppliers present. We were lucky to have Alessandro Carlucci, the Chairman of the World Federation and Joe Mariano, the President of the US DSA, both of whom gave interesting insights into the global performance and achievements and the challenges and opportunities that lie before us, as an industry. We were also treated to a keynote speech, which looked into the future of shopping, both at home and in retail environments.
All seems to reinforce the power of Direct Selling, as fantastic way of promoting quality goods and services.

Our exhibition stand was well supported and we made many new contacts, as well as renewing some old friendships, amongst the corporate executives and the suppliers. We are greatly encouraged by the level of interest in our bi-annual seminars from other DSA officers. We hope and expect to be able to take our seminars to a wider audience on the continent.

PAN European deliver another successful Direct Selling Seminar

On 4th September 2014 PAN European Solutions held the latest in our highly successful series of seminars on direct selling.

Held in the prestigious London offices of DMH Stallard LLP, the seminar attracted a stimulating audience from as far afield as the south of France. There was the usual mix of people, including start-ups, suppliers, those who are investigating direct sales as an additional channel, and newcomers to the industry at some of its bigger companies.

We were especially pleased that Lynda Mills in her new role as Director General of the UK and Ireland DSA was again able to join us and give an industry overview.

Pam Anthony to speak at I AM WOMAN Business Club Event in Cheltenham
